Although we understand that companies have their own specific mandates, practices and visions, any form of support towards our work is of great help and can either be financial (e.g. general donations or specific donations towards our project activities) or in-kind (e.g. provision of office supplies, project equipment, trek gear, hospitality, etc.).

CÎME is a Belgian Fair Trade company, founded by Anke de Boeck and Isabel Coppens, which uses Himalayan herbs and plants to produce organic and hygienic skin care products.
As part of their CSR program, parts of the proceeds of these products are supporting our health program and in particular our Little Doctor Child Health Education Programs.
In January 2014 Jeroen and Nirmala, while in Holland, visited Anke and Isabel at the CÎME head office in Brussels to thank them on behalf of the Trust for their valuable support and to discuss the upcoming health project activities.
We hope to establish a long-lasting relationship with CÎME and like to thank them for their valuable support to date.
More information on CÎME, its products and their partnership with Nepal Trust can be found by clicking this link.
Wanderlust, represented by Barbara Steinmann, is a Swiss based travel agency that recently organized a trek through the Humla region.
Barbara contacted our office in Kathmandu and several interaction programs in our project areas between her clients and the local communities were set up by Nepal Trust.
While staying in the local villages, the trekkers visited the local sites of interest, but also visited our health posts and talked with our health staff and local people to learn about the health problems that the local communities along the trails face every day.
As part of their CSR program, Wanderlust made a donation towards our health program that will enable us to continue provision of medical care and medicines to the communities.
We like to thank Wanderlust for their support. For more information on Wanderlust, please click this link.
The Crown At Wells (UK)
The Crown, a 15th century, Grade II listed coaching inn, is in the heart of the historic City of Wells, Somerset; a stone’s throw from Wells Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace. The Crown’s location makes it ideal base to explore Wells and the many attractions in this wonderful part of Somerset. Cycle and walking routes, for all abilities, are nearby.
Adrian and Sarah Lawrence, owners of the Crown, have been supporting the Nepal Trust for many years. They have visited Nepal several times and have been actively involved in our projects. Every year they generously provide accommodation to Nepal Trust board members when passing through town for the Trust’s annual fundraising and promotion tour. This of course saves the Trust a significant amount of money, which can be directed towards project activities instead.
Since 2000, the Crown, in partnership with the Rotary clubs of Avalon and Wells, has been supporting the Nepal Trust by organizing the ‘Annual Wells Charity Boules Tournament’ in which local families, businesses, Rotarians and Boules enthusiasts participate. The tournament aims to raise funds through team fees, piste sponsorship and other sources and has raised an amazing £70,000 for the Nepal Trust since its inception!
We like to thank the Crown for their support.
Dragon Air/Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong/ Nepal)
As part of their CSR program, Dragon Air/ Cathay Pacific donated valuable computer equipment, incl. environmental friendly flat screens, to the Nepal Trust Kathmandu office, which enabled us to upgrade our office systems.
This is a great example that shows that by providing equipment and supplies, needed to run our operations, can contribute in a significant way.
We like to thank Dragon Air/ Cathay Pacific for their support.
